Anyone know where I can get hold of pirate stuff. You know the sort of thing:

Hat,
Sword
eye patch
stuffed parrot
Big, black pirate-esque coat


Party in countryside, will be riding there, may dress up before I go if I look suitably stupid?

And do "they" still make that chocolate money stuff?

I know a great costume hire/sale shop, but it's in Bedford so a bit outta your way I'm guessing. :roll:

check out your local fancy dress hire - I was in mine at the weekend (fancy dress shop, not Pirate costume!) and tried on Cptn Hook (wife is going as Tinkerbell) - its about £25 with sword and boots etc. The shop is in Southend so just follow the Thames and stop at the sea

They still make chocolate money. I'm not sure if it's available all year round or just at christmas.

According to that, there were only 17 pirates in 2000, so presumably even less now.

I called into my local fancy dress shop on the way home to enquire for you, sadly they said a Mr Benn of 52 Festive Road (apparently a very ordinary street in an ordinary part of town) had been in today and was still trying it on.

Check out FleaBay... You can get alsorts of fancy dress on there...

Not that I've looked for nurses outfits etc :roll: :roll:

Got a proper convincing pirate hat & a scimiter. Was "rather" drunk last night. On the tube wearing said hat & no one attempted to sit near me.

Was rather surprised that no-one in the pub berforehand noticed that anything was unusual. Must get pirates in London all the time.
