do you get k3 curvys?

when did they stop making curvys? are there any k3 curvys?

cheers

The K2 was curvey
The K3 was pointy

That said you gett the odd 03 plate K2 as a late Registration.

No.But there are some late registered curvys. The K2-3-4 thing refers to the actual model not when it first got road registered.

Biker Biggles 24-09-06 07:52 PM

It can be done, but not by Mr Suzuki.

adam_castell 24-09-06 07:53 PM

whats involved?

jambo 24-09-06 07:58 PM

You may be able to fit the K2 carbs on a K3 motor, but I could be wrong.

As has already been said, it might have been a curvy with an '03 reg. I've seen a 53 reg curvy. The manufacturing date doesn't change and some folk confuse the issue by taking the date of registration as model designation.

has anyone done this before, does anyone know of any differences between old and new engines... except car/tb??

The K3 alegedly has a weak crankshaft.

Peter Henry 25-09-06 09:12 AM

K3 onwards has the addition of an oil cooler? :-k

Also a very rare case cracking issue, and some would say understrength rods. Just hearsay this from me, mind. Plus, checking/servicing the clutch is a complete pain in the bum on an injected engine because of the "improved" clutch casing
