Theiving B*stards

Got a phone call at 1.20am today, some b*stards broke into my shop.

Am now sat here at almost 3am waiting for the door to be boarded up.

It seems it was kids, as witnesses say they got away on scooters carrying tesco carrier bags. Beware if you are offered any of the following helmets (without boxes, or covers) as they are likely to have been damaged as they crawled out under the shutter).

Shoei Raid II Gloss Black XXS
Shoei Raid II Halex Red/Black XS
Shoei Raid II Silver S
Shoei Raid II Matt Black S
HJC CS-12 Session Black/Pink XS
HJC CS-12 Session Black/Grey M
Shark SK4 (open Face) Butterfly design Matt Blue XS
Shark S800 Butterfly design Matt blue
Shark S800 Butterfly design matt gold XS
Momo Fighter (open face) Matt Pink XS

Also, if you hear of anyone in the London area trying to sell these helemts on the street, I'd be grateful if you could let me know, as I would personally like to punch them in the face.

I really hate this. There is nothing that winds me up more, than people taking things that belong to someone else. Jo, whereabouts is your shop? Archway isn't it?

Baph 11-10-06 08:45 AM

Scumbags. Might not make the situation better, but at least you're insured for this sort of thing.

If you do hear anything, I'd like a road trip over their nuts too.

By the way, for safety's sake, maybe obfuscate the number a little bit. Google crawls all over this forum. Unless it's the shop number, then it could be handy, but I'd hate for it to land in multiple auto-dialler lists.

I'll keep an eye and ear out for it all. I'd never buy helmets "second" hand anyway, always from the shop for me.

Wheres your shop BTW? I need a new helmet, and my girlfreind needs one (not buying from the theiving gits though).

Jo, so sorry to hear this.

Scum like that deserved to have had a head on with a lorry on the way home.

The swines! Hope you get it sorted.

Well, I'm feeling like a girl who's had no sleep...funny that

In response to the questions, my shop is on Archway Road, near to Highgate tube, and the number I quoted is the shop number (which diverts to my mobile when I'm not there) so it's already pretty visible online.

Now I'm waiting for SoC to turn up so that I can start clearing up in the hope that I can open on time at midday.

Gonna keep my eyes peeled on ebay in case the helmets turn up there, some of them are quite distinctive.

That's what I was thinking - I haven't seen many/any pink Momo's about, so hopefully it should stand out.

Dont worry I will not................I need at least a large and notice they did not nick any in that size!
In all seriousness though, I am sorry for your misfortune. Bring back the death penalty i say. :-#

Jo - really sorry to hear about this! I've not been on the forum much this week and only found out about it from da boyz last night.

Let me know if there's anything I can do.
