The Grumpy Thread
I am feeling decidely grumpy today (feel sorry for the people who have to work near me).
I got caught in the downpour this morning so I'm ****ed wet through as I still don't have waterproof trousers, one probably two of my cats need to go to the vets, I came home yesterday to find my almax chains have been removed and I got to read the police report from my accident last night. Did I mention how wet I got this morning? So I'm feeling decidely grumpy. Anyone else feeling grumpy feel free to vent. |
Fantastic thread. Im always grumpy in the mornings. No reason, its just less effort thatn trying to be happy.
I have to ask Kate, who removed the chains, and how?? I decalre today Grumpy Thursday :D or should that be :( |

I'm grumpy today too.
Lots of reasons: 1. I have too much work to do 2. I have no time to visit here at the moment (other than to post this, of course) 3. I am tired through being called out every night this week 4. I haven't done a journey longer than 5 miles on my lovely Hornet for three weeks 5. I left my wallet at home; no lunch for me. And I get very grumpy when I'm hungry Bah  Grumpy Thursday it is. |
yep. maximus grumpius here too
factium. |
Hey, grumpy people!
Let me spread the joy & happiness on this Thursday morning!!! It's stopped raining, we've all ridden in safely & we're all nice people! Just remember: In 100 years who's going to care? So let's all be happy as in the end it only really affects ourselves! Right, let's have a forum om, "Ooommmmmmmmmmmmm"! |
My commute, pretty much from the first village I passed, police car in front of me. He pulls off the A55 the junction before me, good, so I nail the bike, now pretty much knowing I'll be late.
I come off at the next junction, right on the roundabout, heavy traffic, good, I'm on the bike :D Filter safely but aggressively to make time back. Next roundabout straight over, dodging the white van parked in the middle of the mini-roundabout, next roundabout left, wait in traffic a little bit and bummer, pick up another police car with 8miles left to work. There's no-where really to turn off on this road, so I know he's going to Denbigh. Damn. So I'm sitting behind this police car, keeping a safe distance, and we're both speeding a little (I love it when they do that), next thing I know, a damn farmer decides he wants to move his herd of cows across the road to milk them. What a Wucking Fanker, 8:54, 6mins until work, and I'm waiting for cows to meander across the road. So the cows pass, I set off again, behind the police car, and the heavens open. At least I'm wearing full waterproofs. Get into town, up the back roads, go to turn left down a VERY small side road (my car doesn't fit down it further down) and there's a dustbin truck parked there. Another Wucking Fanker. He moves and I let a red estate ford go before me, only for him to stop, in the rain, to let his dog out of the boot & into a house. So I finally get into work, late. Better late than never I suppose! Little grumpy, but trying to look at it as though it could of been worse. Another lucky commute, I think. :? |

Thats definitely cute, but just reminds me that my cats aren't well which is why I'm off to the vets tonight.
I hate going to the vets, probably as much as the cats hate it. |

While weasels crawl, and eagles soar, you'll never find a weasel sucked into a turbine!
Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity. Come on folks, you know that made you all smile! |
