Chrimbly office parties

Mines tonight...

Its a bit weird this year as I'm more well known I'm gonna have to be on my best behavior.. :(

Its quite a posh doo with overrated food and a bar that isnt a bar but charges 3.50 pint (can emptied into a glass, how festival)

i will be broke, in pain and worse for wear, anyone else got one to go to?

Crimbly Wishes

Mine's 15th Jan :-k :-dd :-s  :smt102

No idea what it'll be like, but apparently, EVERYONE there. So should be a great laugh! Oh I wish I said that seriously.

Well I was invited to the Chrismas do for where I am working - Black Tie, very posh - at THIS hotel.

Will instead be at the Soho Massive bash, having loads of fun and no black tie :)

Had 2 christmas do's already, and am out for 'lunch' ( dinner in my book!) in about an hour ...... milk it girl milk it!

Soulkiss that looks a bit posh, you would hate it! :)

There's only 5 of us so we're spending Friday afternoon in the pub next week.

Hey I can do posh - social chameleon me :)

Besides one of the reasons I love working in jobs with no dress code is that most people that know me only ever see me in t-shirts and jeans so when I DO pull out all the stops its funny to see their faces :)

Will be pulling out some of the stops for tonight anyway - for all stops out see www.chaoscrypt.com/kilt/group.jpg has an example :P

Oh and BTW everyone - the guy on the extreme left of the pic is Peridotite on here - still need to get him to sort out his license and go collect his Red Curvy.......

I didn't go to mine this year, it was going to be rubbish so I went out with people I like :) But last year... Oh, last year was special, because I'd just changed jobs. All the good bits of a christmas night out, without any of the aftermath. I made my old boss cry. A lesser man might feel a twinge of guilt about that, but not me  It was a great night.

I hate work christmass do's. Mine was on Tuesday but had a perfect reason for not attending - I had/have flu.

You can call me a humbug I don't care!

I didnt go to our main office party as it was fancy dress and I hate that kind of thing. But we had our departmental party last night. Even the head of department turned up, he was gracious to put his credit card behind the bar and bought everybody a few rounds of drinks. I had several and today I am paying the price for drinking so much Christmas Spirit

Just got back from mine :(

Mexican nosh........very nice too, and the service was first class.

I'm here in the office more or less alone whilst everyone else is out on the ****. Why? Coz I did the decent think, fell on my sword and offered to cover tonight on-call for a girl who is leaving us next week.

Well, that and I have football in the morning and I don't want to be blowing chunks on the touchline

Tomcat 15-12-06 03:11 PM

hay... mexican for me too... was yummy, feel ill now tho!

jenni 15-12-06 07:19 PM

ours was yesterday, the company booked out the whole of tiger tiger in leeds. drinks were £1.50 each and there was a fun money casino, so I now know how to gamble

had a great time and spent most of the evening shaking my booty on the dancefloor...office was awash with rumours and there was many an ill and embarrassed face.. its what office parties are all about :D

well i woudl love to say how it went but i cant remeber much,

oh yeah, good food, at hazel wood castle in Tascaster, well all got a crimbly card with £30 in it to either spend at the bar, or take home, it meant all my drinks only cost me £2 as i came home with £2 less than i went with. :D

danced a bit, drunk too much, looks like i have started rumors too  but i can honestly say there is nothing to tell..

good doo all round :D

but the doc said to keep my back moving but i don't think he meant dancing around think a monkey on speed, ho hum my bad

Went to the chrimbo do yesterday. Starter was lovely, but had a call as the main course arrived from someone with a camera problem, so I had to go and fix it.

I'm in the middle of a 28 day period with only 1 day off.

Bugger.

I'm at work again today, and I'm gonna get a bollocking tomorrow for sending a camera out to Arizona without a crucial bit of kit.

Sometimes my job kinda sucks
