Weather warning...
Just heard that colleague's stacked her car a bit north of Moffat in snow- be careful out there folks! Scooby Drew'll be heading south if he's in Edinburgh today, but I can't reach him, my phone's died- if anyone could drop him a wee text in case he's up this way that might be a help ;)
Alternatively, it could just be that she's one of those people that can't drive in snow :) |
He knows, don't be bombarding him with texts :)
|
Where's the snow?...(looks out of windy)...a bit wet and cold...no white stuff 'ere
|
Hey folks, no snow up in Aberdeen, but just along in deeside valley-Aboyne up- there is over an inch lying!!
|
I demand snow, right now. Snow's ace...

There was a good few inches in Kirrie today. Think we're meant to be getting some shortly
Its certainly cold enough for it tonight  |
It is cold but the sky is clear.
It is full of stars No snow forecast... |
There was snow in Gala last night and again this morning. 8)
|
Bah. Call that snow? Looks like somebody's dusted* the garden. How am I supposed to pelt the weans with snowballs in that stuff?
* - like with icing, not Mr Sheen. |
I am stuck in heavy snow!!!
What a arseache. Northwind wanted snow...I blame him. |
I bottled it this morning... It started coming down at about 8, by 9 there was a good couple of cm and the road was white, so I took the bus. By 9.15, apparently, it was all gone- and I don;t leave the house usually till then
I like snow, but there's got to be enough to share! |
It came down big.
it took me 3 hours to get to Dunfermline. Not good. ah well. real bad. But clear now. |
On the other hand, sitting on the bus with my bike jacket and gloves on, and my wooly hat, and my polar buff... I must have looked like a freak, but I was lovely and toasty :)
|
:offtopic: Which bit of a polar buff is polarised? The bit around your neck or the bit stuffed down your jacket or the bit stuffed up your helmet or all/some of the above?
Just curious... |
It's like a normal buff with a fleecy bit attached, really. But I cut it in half, it was ludicriously long, I just wear the fleecy bit- and I'll have the normal bit for when it warms up. A very good buy, I reckon. I've tried all sort of neck-things and this is the best so far.
|
The wife got me a polar buff rip off for £3 from wilkinsons. I have 2 regular buffs but have stopped using them now due to the cold. This one is great for £3. I think the proper polar buffs are around £15.
|
Aha, the picture is painted. Thanks chaps. If I could find one for 3 quid I'd have it but 15 seems like a lot of money at this particular time of year...
