19.01.07 midwinter blues
c'mon then...
will be doing a walk-by later on in the evening. Will be stone cold sober, having spent the earler part of the evening with a woman of the cloth  happy to be led astray tho. |
Hey, why not.
|
mmmh travel all that way and get wet, not to sure about that.
|
Wheres the option that says "Drinking over priced coffee in the rain" then?
|
hmmm, not quite sure if i'll be doing any of the above, but i'll probably be out at Frith...
|
Going out for a friends birthday, so prob'ly not. Have fun in my absence.
That is an order. :D |

Not this week although it's bloody good biking weather. Am going up to Warwick tomorrow if anyone fancies running with me on the M40 ......

I'll see if I can get the NEC to reschedule the furniture show.
I'll come back to you :D  |
Might make it!
|
Bloody food. Might pop by later.
|
nice to see you all out again tonight :D except thor, you slacker
had a tug from the boys in blue (or rather yellow) on the way back. 53mph in a 40, so i get 3 options - go to court (er no thanks), 3 pts & £60 fine (er no thanks) or look at a picture of an accident (i'll take that one please). So i look at a picture of a car which has crashed and burned and nod sombrely as the copper tells me about how if someone jumps out in front of me the extra 13mph means that i wouldn't be able to stop. i look back down the deserted country road where it's midnight and there aren't even any other cars let alone people, but decided it's best to keep quiet at this point. nice copper tho, can't say fairer than that. but just as well they didn't get us earlier eh Stu?? |
That's bad luck Ness! Glad they gave you a sensible easy option though.
My attendance was rather a drive-by effort. I was going between two work things with the intention of a nice cup of coffee in between. But bendy-bus traffic jams and road-blocking dustbin lorries meant that by the time I got there it was simultaneously time to leave. Nice to see everyone brief though it was, and of course I did the important thing which was to check out Kim's new hair (v nice!). |

Can't imagine to what you refer :-dd |
That was a lucky escape Ness! .....Of course you know that if you hadn't been so fortunate i'd have completely selflessly offered to look after your bike for you
Good to see lots more people turning up lately (except noted slacker  ). The most important and notable event of the evening was of course Cazza's very brief appearance (lovely to see you hun) but second to that was me finally collecting a whole nine stamps and getting my first free coffee!!!! I went for the Caramelatte cos it was the most expensive thing on the menu and even though it was disgustingly sickly and covered in whipped cream, i cherished every second of it. :D |
plan on attending this week... well I hope to...

BTW, has anyone told you that look like Arthur Mullard in that avatar? |
Nope your the first.
|
Dan, you look... erm... unique?
Kim - thank you for deeming my blinkandyoumissedit appearance more important than a fancy latte. I'd have voted for the freebie food / beverage option over me any time, but thank you. Hope to be there for longer this week. Which shouldn't be difficult. Unless it snows. |
So are we making this next weeks thread as well.
If so I'll be there. If not I won't. |
