Merc A class help

I've had a search around and I'm trying to get a idea of how to get at the instrument panel off to change a bulb, can I find anything on the tinternet, can I bugger.

Oh baybenz site was no help, can't even find the microfiche.

Shouldnt be too hard. Screws are usualy hidden behind other things, or little pannels

Grinch 12-02-07 01:22 PM

I'm just worried its rip the whole dash out... for one bulb.

Does it just pull out ?

mine has 2 very thin slots on each side, and using a special tool (rather like a thin L shaped wire coat hanger) you just pull it out

Just take it down a bumpy road - should just fall off...

Take a Triumph bike as an example: Mercs are slightly better built, Renaults are even worse.

Ah.. I'll have to have a look to see if I can work that out. I did try to see if it was some sort of slot affair but couldn't see anything like that.

Oh as for the dash, good luck.

When I needed a bulb for my Ovlov I was told to do all of them by the garage due to labour costs (bulp = few pence, labour = 100+ quid)
