Working nights this week so wont be able to go, and my mate Gary's not racing this year in the Thunderbikes. Will get down to Brands for one of them to see a couple of friends I've made over the years of watching him race

Will be there covering the event for 2onT...looking out for quick minitwinners to do some instructing at our club event later in the year, & watching Andy Weymouth wipe the floor with the poor boys in SS600....

Well well well ... I have booked myself onto the Trackday at Brands tomorrow (Thursday) ... you have to love spontaneity :lol: … So SV650Racer ... see you there 8) (p.s. I take it you have booked onto Advanced?)

I might stick around for some of Friday too ... depends how my day goes on Thursday ;)

I stumbled past Brands yeaterday whilst having a ride and popped in to watch the testing. Looks like you'll be in for a great day if you go.

A good day out with mostly sunny weather,a very chilly wind and twenty cracking races.Interesting dice between our resident forum dealership and a certain Phil Read(junior)on his sparkling Laverda.:cheers:

£12 to get in.Brands is a great spectator venue for club races as you can go anywhere and see everything.No crowds and very laid back.It's one of my top three tracks with Mallory and Lydden being the others for a great view.
It's just a shame I can remember when it used to be about £3 :)

I have posted some pictures in the photo's section...wasn't sure if I would be allowed in the paddock without a pass so I didn't come and say hello:(
Also, I dont know anyone from the forum but if you looked around and saw a chubby bloke in a leather sun-hat wearing a Hawk kawasaki jacket carrying a camera then that would have been me...

I did however notice about 3 or 4 bikes in the same SJM colours...
After this weekend I am deffo looking to snetterton:)

I popped up yesterday as well in the afternoon - Didn't seem to have any problems wandering around the pit/paddock areas! Had a pretty good day.

Its not a problem at club meets, its only BSB etc where you need a proper pass ;) ... still at least you know now for next time 8)
