Tis indeed a corking offer - I turn 25 in a couple of weeks and I'm very tempted to go for this offer. I've emailed my local dealer to ask if the offer applies only to K7 models or also to the K5 models they still have new in their showroom. They are doing the K7 for £5999 with the £99 insurance and possibly on interest free credit as well! K5 is £5499!

So tempting!

IMHO Its better than the SV is, but you'll need to keep on top of the cleaning if you want to keep it in tip top condition.

Mines never been through a winter, yet the exhaust header bolts have still gone rusty... but thats about it.

Don't bother asking - K7 looks a much better deal IMO. Brand new k5 should have suffered at least £1000-£2000 depreciation by now.

I had to check so rang my dealer in rochdale and the new K7 is at £6500 with the £99 insurance offer. you have to be 25 but he didn't say anything about the bike being garaged.

i am thinking about doing this, unfortunately it does require a garage, i know this as i don't have one and so had to ask. So no £99 for me....but, you can still get a subsidy from Suzuki, for me it is £400 if i take that offer. If i can get a good deal on the bike i may well do it :D off to check dealers soon!!

Very good deal and i do love the 600 it a real screamer.

However for those who are under 25 and can utilize the insurance offer, i would seriously consider saving an extra Grand and buying the 750, ive never regreted it.

Try get a test drive on both ull see what i mean.

i thought the gsxr600 was meant to be one of the 600s with a bit more power low down?

TBH i cant comapre it to any other 600 as i havnt got round to riding many.

What i do no is that the 600 only starts to pull after 8K rev's. But more idealy u need to be at 10K if you want the real power, then its hang on time.

Whereas the 750 pulls from 4k and more idealy 6k if u want to get round sumat quickly.

more relaxed riding sounds good. Although it looks like the insurance difference is huge between the 600 and 750!

I've just turned 25 and have a garage. Tempting, but I don't trust myself to not do "going to prison" speeds, so no out and out sportsbike yet.

You have answered something I have been pondering for a while there, thanks mate! I like the idea of the 600, but it sounds to me that the 750 is almost an easier ride .... would LOVE one! :thumbsup:

yeah mate and as i sed earlier im only 21 and the difference on the insurance through Suzuki was only £120.

Gotta disagree I'm afraid. My gixer 600 had a nice amount of grunt, low down and further up. Lovely and easy to ride too, you don't have to ride like a lunatic, you can have a nice bimble but if you want to have a good aggressive run it likes to do that too.

As soon as the insurance pays up I'll be getting exactly the same again.

What model 600 do you have Kate?

The one ive riden was a K6 and it was very lacking lower down kinda pre 8K.
