Re: Oh dear../ Oh Goody?
Blimey that's not bad (I did a quote for myself on one of those in London, I'm 28, clean licence, and it was well over £1000 TPFT).
I love those bikes  Stop wasting time on here and go buy it :smt045 |

errrrr im 22 thats why its "expensive" but when you realise its 16% of the value of the bike thats not bad.. bearing in mind my car worth £2500 is currently costing 50% of its value to insure it.... according to "rides Figures" it costs a 35 yr old with 5 yrs no claims £750 comp for a new R1... any way ill be buying it if i have my way ..... when iv finished the house and if tother half has her way when hell freezes over.. lols.. |

Re: Oh dear../ Oh Goody?
Insurance is a right sod, after throwing loads into car insurance to get my 6 years no claims and now having a company car is was all rather pointless as they expire after 2 years if not used.
I think I pay £365 on the SVsport Fully comp with loads of extras and £250 excess. not bad i dont think considering my lack of any experience |
Re: Oh dear../ Oh Goody?
I pay £180 and I am 30 years old, with 3 years no claims. Bike is a brand new K6,

i guess around £350 - £450 ? thats still just under half what i would be paying....? yes its a lot of dosh but its a lot of bike costin ga lot of money.. bear in mind the XJR was £350 tft (£500 comp) and im 22, makes it doubel the price but its 20 times the bike lol... i guess to me £1000 is acceptable anything over that and i squeak in horror, so to insure that best for circa £1000 dont seem arf bad.. its irrelelvent any way im skint... lols... and the whole point of my job that pays more is to actually save some money and finish the house... ill have one .. just maybe this time next year :smt045 |
Re: Oh dear../ Oh Goody?

bike insurance is a bargain in comparison! |
