Horrible bike, but nice bum!

Re: Copper SV!

I like it. It shows that some has a mind of their own other than following the flushmount indys - tailtidy, hugger mod that every man, woman and their dog do.

Re: Copper SV!

Swiss you just gave me an idea. How about making some polished walnut parts like tail tidy, grab-rail and dash, mirrors and belly-pan? could look amazing with a high crome fairing! It would look like some supersonic antique flying down the road! :smt003

You do it and I'll photograph it for you, deal?
We will not conform to the norm. . . . . .;)

Yeah, that's what I think too, copper exhaust pipe would be good... It's just not gone far enough over to the daft side. It's nicely done though I reckon.

Re: Copper SV!

The concept I mean- the soldering doesn't matter, he doesn't care if it leaks :) And after all, it's an SV, really good soldering would be out of place.

dirtydog 15-08-07 05:40 PM

Re: Copper SV!

I mean it would look better if it didn't have loads of silver solder showing

Re: Copper SV!

At least no one will nick it and if the did the police would spot it quickly....and start the chase when they wiped the tears of laughter from there eyes!!

Re: Copper SV!

Re Northy's request for coppering the exhaust
Run it far enough on one cylinder with the unburnt fuel going into the exhaust and it gives the required copper burnished look to the box
