finally, after 20 years

Mummies little soldier is moving out.

No more parking problems, no more dirty shoes in the hallway. No more vomit in the flower beds, no more cig butts on the drive, no more dirty plates on the work tops.

So far today I have had :-

Dad, will you, paint Ruby's bedroom, cut down the tree in the back garden, change the locks, install a burglar alarm, put a lock on the shed.

Can I borrow the lawn mower and a spade

Somehow I don't see my life getting any easier.

you will just spend more time at his house than your own tim. remember to drink his beer supplies and eat him out of house and home while you are there. enjoy having to just fight Mrs Tim for the remote control now.

what age is he? just wondering how long I have to wait

Something just came up from the memory banks. My dad was quite upset when my older brother moved out, even admited to shedding a few tears lol

Well for todays laugh.

They decided to paint their bedroom, using some paint the found in their shed. So now their bedroom is done in B&Q exterior textured paint.

I was in my local JTF yesterday picking up a couple of Eurolock cyclinders for their doors. and thought what the heck. Bought him a reasonable set of screwdrivers, a large torch, He already owns a couple of drills. I just need to get my 110v transformer back off him. He still has my spade, so I may let him keep it and justify buying myself a new one.

The tree is far too nice to come down, so it aint.

Strange how when others a little more knowledgeable and not wearing rose tinted glasses pick up "issues". Yesterdays was. David, have you noticed your patio is inclined down towards the house. What do you mean. When it rains the water will wash against the house instead of running down the garden.

So looks like me and her dad will be relaying the patio.
