Remus Revolution Exhaust
Anyone have one of these fitted to their machine ??
What are your thoughts on it ?? Just had a chat with one of the guys at JHS Racing (jhsracing.co.uk) and they recommended the above (based on me not wanting to pay loads, remain legal and enhance performance too much..) Please, comments if you will !! gracias !! Wiz |
Re: Remus Revolution Exhaust
Well, they're expensive generally. But they're lovely, very good quality, sound brilliant baffled or unbaffled (most cans sound rubbish with the baffles in). My favourite slipon... Got one in the garage which I'm trying to persuade onto my race system as it happens

Re: Remus Revolution Exhaust
My other half has one on her K5, its a really nice bit of kit, well screwed together and solid to. The mounting to the bike is good and they sound nice to. Sounds better with the baffle out as it makes the tone a bit deeper, but its not offensively loud either. If I was in the market for a can its what I would buy

Re: Remus Revolution Exhaust
I've got a titanium trapedioizal (sp?) Remus Revolution.
I love the sound; it's deep, and not too loud even with the baffle out. The build quality is excellent (i'm an engineer and IMO it really is well made). Its very solid and the finish stood up to a winter of commuting and still looks as new. £310 is, perhaps, a bit steep but mine was a xmas/birthday present from the mrs and i'm VERY happy with it. Might go and get the sound level tested soon to see if it passes Castle Combe's noise regs with the baffle in. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...S/DSCF0018.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...tionsv650s.jpg |

Re: Remus Revolution Exhaust
Yep, great vid, just made my mind up for me. Spent ages looking at the different zorst's available. Was originally thinking of a full system but can't justify £700 for an Arrrow system. Remus it's gonna be!

Re: Remus Revolution Exhaust
Morning all.
Having been a Remus dealer for several years now I have supplied hundreds of slip ons & full exhausts to all makes & models, & can honestly say that I've never had a complaint about them. . Anyone who wants one at 15% off list price give me a yell:D Cheers. |
Re: Remus Revolution Exhaust
would have taken you up on that offer mate - I am in South Wales though and want it fitted. Nottinghamshire is a tad far for a bimble. Cheers for offer though..

I have a high level Titanium Grand-prix. E-marked but with baffle out. Great sound, deep sound at all revs. Used every day, all weathers and the can and its fittings are unmarked. You get what you pay for. If i was looking for a pipe again I would get a low level as the high style link pipe affects my lefthand cornering and normal riding foot position. Boots(9) burn when I have the ball of my foot on the peg, and is a bit too intrusive. Form over function:( Does not annoy me enough to change.(Exhaust, not boots:rolleyes::p) |

I'll give 'em a shout on Monday & see what they have. Most Remus cans, unless they're the O/E flange type fitting have an internal diameter of either 54mm or 76mm, so you may be in luck. Cheers. |
Re: Remus Revolution Exhaust
Ta :) Remus tehmselves are a wee bit close lipped on this, they don't want to recommend anything apart from official fitments, which is fair enough. Their R6 powercone is a 50mm, but it's kind of small and raucous ;)
