Women's Rugby

Ello!

I'm trying to get the Witham (Essex) Ladies rugby team re-formed and am looking for any girlies that want to play.

We're starting pretty much from scratch - seeing as I've never played before and am INCREDIBLY unfit - we're taking on anyone no matter what skill or fitness level. We've got a coach, a couple of veteran players from the original team 13 years ago and a club that's fully behind us.

I doubt we'll be ready to play this season as we've got a lot to learn.

If anyone's up for it, chuck me a pm and I'll send you more details. :D

Blokes, all jokes about you joining up or after match showers will be summarily dismissed as I'm getting dead bored of hearing it...

Cheearrrs.

Ask if they'll put a note up in the staff info room at your local prison. Loads of female officers play rugby.

Probably, I thought most of the female university team were when I played. Some of them were bigger and scarier than the men's team!

How many blokes have made the joke about wanting to tackle you, Ping? :p

Oddly enough, none so far... They're more interested in the post-match shower.

You know if I was still in the Uk I would love a chance to train lady rugby players. (No pervy intentions at all) I would though always have a problem about them banging their chest bits about. I mean their not designed for that are they?

You are by far one of the most bizarre people I've ever met... What part of the human body is MEANT to be banged about? (No pervy answers please )

No part of the human body is made for collision sport. (Gah! Apart from the obvious...)

Boobies are no different than say... what you'd keep in your jock strap. There are means and ways to deal with the issues. :p
