Check this out and spot the irony in the fact that this camera car is for "Parking Enforcement". I took this in Camberwell:rolleyes:

Didn't you know that it's one rule for them, another for us commoners?

The scum who enforce it have, of course, given themselves an exception.

That being a double yellow line it obviously would be dangerous or obstructing to park there - unless you're making pots of money for a greedy LA, err... I mean keeping the streets clear for traffic to run freely.

You should have asked them to move saying that as they are close to a junction there is a possibility they could contribute to an accident. If they refused, politely let them know that you will be informing the police of their location so that if an accident was to happen, they are shown to be negligent in their actions and as such, liable to prosecution.......

FG1 valid point, in fact it would obstruct line of sight.

I must admit that I probably would have had words. Also, looking in the back of the car, it appears that they are carrying an unsafe load. OK, in your private vehicle the regulations aren't as enforcable but as it is a working environment for the driver, to drive with that sign in the back could constitute a health and safety infringment. I wonder if there is a risk assesment for carrying roadsigns on the back seat......

Bottom line, hang the ba5tards.....

Normally I would have 'had a word'. But I was just coming off a night shift at Kings College where I spent about three weeks with my daughter. I was a little otherwise engaged. Trust me, I aint backward at being forward about these things.
