Noticeable that modern racing bikes get much more lean angle.

True, slick tyres only came in for bikes in '73 / '74 and even then, they were so much worse than they were even just 10 years later, let alone compared to today's tyres. The 500 and 750cc 2-strokes of the mid-70s would shred tyres easily.
