Couple of bargain days coming up

Mallory Park 6th December, or Oulton Park on the same day. Only £59.00.

Anyone doing these as i fancy booking my first trackday at Oulton within the next few weeks. Just debating whether to use the SV or hire a GSXR from http://www.smallboytrackbikes.co.uk/ - probably the latter as i've had a price from them and it looks good.

I'm doing Oulton on the 6th December thru No Limits
http://www.nolimitstrackdays.com/aca...ck_Events.html

You can hire bikes off them, might be cheaper than the other guys http://www.nolimitstrackdays.com/aca...ire_Bikes.html
Plus you can have free tuition if you ask them & it works. :)

Are they doing deals for the day? What sort of price are they quoting?

Cheers

Looks like they have one standard Gixxer and the rest race prepped. I was originally going down with a mate so had asked for a price for 2 bikes. The standard bike is normally £175 all-in (includes fuel for the day) and the race bikes £199 but they say they'd do the 2 for £175 each.

Looks like i'm going on my own now though so will probably take the SV although i'm still musing over the standard GSXR but think i'll get my first day done on a familiar bike first then look at hiring something more powerful for future days.

This might be a good idea for me as I don't want to bin the CBR-RR on my first trackday.

Yeah, i'm still in two minds, binning the SV would be real bad news as its my commuter/weekend toy. Plus, I cant see me really pushing the limits of my own bike on track for that reason whereas on someone elses bike i'd be more inclined to give it some.

Forgot to ask them about deposit amount and loss in the event of an accident but it does seem like a good deal at £175 as you get the works - rapid bike, fuel, warmers, tech support guy all day etc.

From reading their website it looks like its no deposit taken, but if you bin it, they take the costs to repair from your CC. with a max amount of £400.
