New owner!

Well after owning a CBR 600 F1, ER5 and a Z750, i have just bought a SV650 on a '54' reg, its done 15K and is in Black with a Viper can. I've put a new battery on it as the old one was that dead it didn't even light up the dash.

First off i've always liked SV650's and since my insurance wouldn't let me get a RSVR i thought why not get an SV. I know its not the quickest thing in the world but i love it the sound is ace and its just a little wheelie machine.

Now i was just wondering if the speedo's are accurate as my old Zed was known for being about 11% out.

What is the best Tail tidy to go for?

Which hugger to go for? i would ideally like a Carbon one.

Cheers in advance for all the help.

Hi there sam.
Good choice of bike, and its not as slow as you think once you get used to it.

as for the parts i have on the bike:
R&G tail tidy
Pyramid hugger (ebay nice a cheap )

so i would recommend these and they are both brilliant if not a little pricey but i got what i paid for.

cheers i've had an R&G tail tidy before it was very good, I'm not that bothered about the speed really as it will mean i should keep my licence which is a plus ha ha, Although i've only done about 25 miles on it at the moment but my chicken strips have pretty much gone already.

Also how do i know if mine is a K3 or a K4?

Welcome to the Org!

I have only ever used Evotech tail tidies, really nice quality.

Skidmarx do a carbon hugger. Real carbon fibre too, not "carbon look"
