Rain, thunder and lightning.
I was at Coco, in Welshpool, with a couple of friends and while we were sat talking over a coffee we had a monsoon type downpour. Broad Street turned into a river for a short while!
I waited until it passed before I got back on the bike to come home, but between Belan and Garthmyl I rode under the edge of it. Fortunately I was out the other side again in a couple of minutes so it never had the chance to soak through my leathers! I just made it back indoors again before it caught up with us here. It's hammering down again now and there's lots of thunder rumbling away too. It sounds like the storm is pretty much over the top of us now. Love a good storm, me. |
Re: Rain, thunder and lightening.
So it got lighter, or there was lightning? :)
(one day after agreeing with Piers Morgan and I've turned into "that guy", sorry) I got caught in a downpour yesterday whilst riding. First time my SV has been in that much rain. Still, my wet weather gear hanging in my wardrobe stayed dry. |
Re: Rain, thunder and lightening.
Lightning does usually cause lightening, rather than darkness. So technically Gary is right :study: ;)

I just love the banter that crops up here. It's almost as if we're all still allowed to be human (i.e. with flaws that are tolerated) - I didn't think that was allowed on the internet anymore and I'm hugely grateful:notworthy: |

Now then, it would appear that the only people in this thread with the incorrect spelling are Seeker and Darren. :p |
