Handguards on a YBR125

I'm wondering if it's possible to fit handguards to the YBR, I have poor circulation at the best of times so it doesn't take much for them to freeze on me

YC says it should be possible, just wondering if anyone who can remember back to their 125 days :-P has ever bothered?

Any advice much appreciated. Oh and just to say now, no my gloves are not too tight, I'm just female and cold-blooded ;-)

Cheers, Maria :)

I have some guards from a DL650 (£35 from suzuki dealer) that go on my '99 naked in the winter. Believe you/chris are fairly near me. You would be welcome to have a look and see if they work before forking out for some, unless you already know that the switch gear is radically different (involves new longer bolt through clutch lever, longer one through brake leaver, then clip onto a grooved bar end spacer).

Failing that, you may get some motorcross ones perhaps that will work?

Well YC loves his and says they've cut down the cold and keep his hands drier #shrug#

Remind me what bar mitts look like?

And cheers Sloppy. But you've mentioned guards for a bigger bike, my 125's only little, would that make a difference?

Hmm not sure about those, wouldn't I have to keep taking them on and off the bars?

Why? You just slide you hands in

just don't look overly secure. I know they're just bits of cloth but still, no point paying good money for them to get nicked is there lol
