Can a gen2 exhaust fit a gen1

I have a 02 gen1.
I found a stepped big bore system for a gen2 online from china.
Has anyone fitted a gen2 system to a gen 1?
I am trying to get as much power as I can from my single carb/TB conversion.
I am currently running a gen3 decat system but I am skeptical of the 38mm collector output being the best for power.(I could be wrong) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005...24972e0eDMSwHU

I have an idea that the front header sticks out further on the gen 2 pipes, in order to clear the oil rad. I don't know beyond that I'm afraid.
