I saw the funniest thing on Friday on the A40
 

On the A40 just passed Ruislip going toward Uxbridge, two people on those tiny tiny monkey bikes that fit in a car boot. They were both dressed top to toe in high vis and gunning it as fast as they could go which was about 45 mph, head down. They were even riding in a formation like geese, one to the left on front and one slightly to the right and a bit behind, although maybe they were racing! He he he. I laughed my little holey socks off.

Probably car rental employees. We get them a lot coming to deliver/collect cars from us. I had a go of their bikes around our yard and it scared the crap out of me. How they ride on the public roads is beyond me.

Etienne spent a few months riding one of those for a living - takes balls of steel esp when they send you on a 100 mile round trip down busy dual carriageways and you're at knee height doing 45mph!!

they're a real laugh for mucking around though! but Bear take note - the shock is not designed to accommodate large hairy omnivores...

You see groups of people on these in matlock, with number plates, tax discs the lot, Makes me laugh, got to be scary passing an artic on a dual carriage way though.

A friend at uni was one. It was agony and ecstasy. You ride one of those monkey bikes, but you get to drive wicked cars. He told us that most of the owners were ****ed and wanted to show off their cars so would egg him on. They would quite often go for extra drives just for fun!
