Where to buy a gear lever?

Need to get a gear lever today so that I can ride to work tomorrow (Yes I could make to tide me over but that is a last resort).

George White dont have any in stock, where else should I try?

Get MCN, look in the parts section after the classifieds, should be a place there who can get one out to you next day delivery. I take it you have no transport to go and get one?

Maybe someone off the forum can help.. If you track one down thats localish, soemone could go and collect it? I could leave work early possibly...

Was going to ride the bike to a local shop to get one. Managed to change gear okay last night without the lever so it shouldnt be too much of an issue.

Just dont fancy riding to work tomorrow without it.

Yeah put a bolt through it. Works for me. I have a bolt repair for months on end. As soon as I replace the lever, the bike gets dropped / crashed and I'm back to a bolt again. Leave the bolt in and I wont crash. Well that's the plan.

Thats where I bought the bike!

Have settled for the bolt option and it seems to work okay.

You may have not noticed this but in my previous post I did say that it is dropped or broken, I did not however indicated that it was I that dropped it or crashed it. That just wouldn't happen, what with me being a riding god and all.

Anyone else got any ideas? Preferably an online retailer (I am assuming a gear lever is easy to replace!). Am thinking of selling the SV and I think the bolt solution may put people off / significantly reduce any offers I get!
