Potential there or just plain silly?
Just been browsing ebay and came across this,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2003-SUZUKI-SV...QQcmdZViewItem I dont know what to think, could it look ok if it was red? It just looks like a clown bike and i wouldnt be seen riding it as it is! |

Re: Potential there or just plain silly?
I just realised what it reminds me of, a Zwak ER6 the one with the red bits!

Re: Potential there or just plain silly?
I think the dodgy looking bike in the backround should be a warning to us all!

Re: Potential there or just plain silly?
Love the comment about resetting the needle "if he has time" - not sure where he's likely to find that procedure in the workshop manual. So basically its going to need a respray (?£250) new tacho (?100) set of locks (?150) indicators + whatever else he forgot to mention. I would be worried what other vital components he lost in his kitchen during the rebuild. Personally wouldnt bother and just find one that's been looked after, although maybe worth going for at £1k if there's no reserve.

wise words Keith dude, Rich xx |
Re: Potential there or just plain silly?
Yuk, but...
Would the red powdercoated forks and pillion peg hangers look good on a red pointy (06 model with black frame)? |
Re: Potential there or just plain silly?
I think with the right plastic- ie, black or white- and converted to naked, that could be qiuite good. But at the moment it's an epic failure. Punkjumper on SVRider has a curvy with a red frame and, if memory serves, black or dark green plastics, it looks ace.
