Diesel Power

This looks tempting. Takes a 1.2 TDI engine from a Lupo (3 cylinder), has more torque than a Rocket III and does 120 mpg ;) Belting.

Thats been floating about for a year or so, not really heard anymore since they where looking for backing from a company... After that the trail went dead.

Wasn't Gillera or some other italian manufacturer making a diesel tourer in late 80s? I seem to remember there was one or two around?
