Show me your belly pans...fnaaar
My bike is crying out for a belly pan, but not sure what one to get. There are a few on the market ranging from 30 quid to 140 quid - not including the ludicrously expensive original Suzuki option on the grounds of its stupid price.
I need your help, people. What I require are photos showing what you have and your recommendations. My bike is a silver 650 K3 naked, but pics on any colour bike faired or naked will be appreciated. Does an SV1000 or pre K3 650 bellypan fit, or do they need major modification? Also, does anyone know if Ricambi-Weiss on ebay make a bellypan for the K3 onwards SV650? |

Genuine Suzuki one here - I know it's a Thou, but I don't think there's much difference in looks at least - fitting wise I don't know

Its more just the angle, I designed it to be a good fit for most types of exhaust systems and it deflects air to the oil cooler.
Its capacity is generally determined by the height of the rear lip which depends on what exhaust sytem on the SV. http://muchos.co.uk/members/robw/webk32.jpg http://muchos.co.uk/members/robw/webk31.jpg There's also a carby one which is smaller, but the injected bike is wide under the swingarm pivot so there's a fair bit of cutting to get one to look right. http://muchos.co.uk/members/robw/Car...hs (Small).jpg http://muchos.co.uk/members/robw/car...hs (Small).jpg |
