IT help please, can't play video..
I can't play any video that been downloaded on my Sony Cyber-Shot digital camera.. It never used to be a problem but now videos that played fine in the past are coming up with an error message?

Have you made any changes on your pc?
Will they play in Quicktime? Perhaps you need to download some codecs - http://www.free-codecs.com/ |

Yep, they play in Quicktime but not windows media, haven't made any changes for a while..

Try downloading the codecs if you want to use WMP.
I opt to use windows classic media player and videolan for all media clips / films, however, it's useful to install a good codec package if you want to play many video formats. You could also try converting the clips. |

Problem solved, did a search on google and found that Samsung PC studio can cripple Media players, uninstalled it and BINGO!
Cheers anyway Defender, while you are here... Do you know how to add a song to a video so it plays over the top of the original audio? |

for everyone still using rubbish like windows media player (any version) its time to stop having the wool pulled over your eyes with "codex" etc
go and get vlc media player www.videolan.org its a player that plays everything is easy to use and free |
