Looking for an SV650'S' pointy (seen some on 04 plate)

Hi, I've got a silver 2004 honda cbf600 'S' with 6000 miles on the clock, I'm the second owner, it's getting serviced within a week or two and it's taxed till august/september next year, and it's in mint condition. I've never personally thrashed it and the owner before me only did 3 thousand miles in 3 years. I paid £3500 in july this year and a local independent dealership (with a crap reuptation for prices/part-ex) offered me just £1750 for it at the start of october. I said I wanted 2500 (looking for about 2300). I'm gonna take some pics of it this evening/tomorrow if anyone is interested.

has made a great first bike for me, although a few people have asked why I'd want to change after only 6 months. Here's why:

I passed my direct access in June of this year and had my eye on an sv650S for months as I'd heard it was an ideal first 600. I had, however, gotten used to the noob friendly upright riding position of the cb500 learner bikes. Once I sat on an SV in a showroom I thought "f**king hell this position just feels wrong"... and with that I decided to get some 'real life' experience on something a bit more learner friendly. The cbf has a wicked engine, comfortable riding position and fairing does a decent job. Like most new riders I did end up one or two situations where other bikes might have caught me out but the CBF was forgiving...

Since I've built up my real world confidence a bit and had a go on a few mates' SV's and test ridden one at the NEC 2 days ago, I've decided I'm ready for a bit of a sportier package etc.

So if anyone has a very good condition pointy SV sport with around 10k miles on it, I'd be very interested. Would be willing to look into a part ex or buying if and when I sell mine.

thanks for reading, Pt6^
