I just adopted a rescue kitty :D
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
She's sweeeeeeet, gorgeous, black & has limited eyesight so she's an indoor cat. I was looking for a kitten but after seeing her online, & then in person I was completely smitten (she's really affectionate). She's a senior cat & as she can only see a bit out of one eye the RSPCA said it put a lot of people off, not me though, I just had to give her a home *jumps up & down in chair*. Now I have to stop myself going back for more or a dog lol :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D |

ohhhhh cutie. Rescue animals are always great, I got my older dog from RSPCA and Bob I rescued off the street at 12 weeks old, they are so loyal friends.

She's lovely, and well done for taking an older cat. They tend to be ignored in favour of 'cute' kittens. I've had a couple of older rescued cats, and they have been great.
I always want to bring them all home, though:( |

Lovely. I got a grown up (sort of) rescue cat.
:-D:-D:-D |
Re: I just adopted a recsue kitty :D
my dog's a rescue too, ex-police dog. I used to work at an RSPCA animal centre and so many new animals used to come in every day, most healthy, some not so. some got rehomed quick (usually the cute young ones) others dont, was really sad to see how long some had been there. there were even a few who were still there when i left and that was after a year or so! :smt085
so a thumbs up from me!:) |

She looks lovely. What's she called?
We adopted 2 rescue cats a few weeks ago. We chose the ones that just hid under the chair and in a box. They are called Billy (II) and Bonnie. This is Bonnie (my cat). Billy(II) is Eviltwin's. http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/7492/img3063dj5.jpg |
Re: I just adopted a recsue kitty :D
i had 2 rescue cats bonnie and clyde. when i moved into flat i felt bad about then having to live in shed so gave them to my pal in nottingham. unfortunately bonnie went missing and has never been found but clyde is doing well.
we got a lab cross pup when we first moved, from rescue place, unfortunately it didnt like my son (18 months at time boy not dog). it used to nip at him, rescue place said it was trying to be dominant pup. gave us loads of tips. unfortunately oneday it lept a 3 foot barrier and dragged my son from chair and started scratching his back and nipping his face. as it was only 10 weeks old had not been out walking and its claws were very long. took loads of skin of my sons back, he only had nappy on. dog went back that day, dont know what happened to it. made me wary of dogs, thankfully my son was too young to remember or maybe just stupid, he has no real fear of dogs |
