Gis a push
Sort of explained here
After spending most of the morning trying to get the thing started and missing the toy run, I'm going to give it another go tomorrow evening and try to bump start it before sending it off the the Ducati mechanic. If any of you burly London-based orgers are free for a little while and fancy a bit of exercise can you let me know? Ta  |
Re: Gis a push
Should be free in the evening, and will probably be at Chez Squid trying to fit my braided lines, so I'll give you a hand. Admittedly I'm a fat bloke with a gammy knee, so dunno how much good I'll be, but I'll give it a go!

Thanks dude. Can you PM me your mobile number? My phone got stolen on Friday night so I've lost all numbers. This weekend could've gone better 8-[ |
Re: Gis a push
Used to get a similar thing on an old bike, after lots of mucking about it turned out to be the brushes in the starter motor

Re: Gis a push
try a jump lead direct from battery + to that connector on the starter (just touch it on for a moment), this will tell you if it's the starter motor or not.
Cheers Mark. |

Re: Gis a push
After what you've been going through the last few days, I think that you need to change your username. 'Unlucky' might be more appropriate.
