Tinted visors.
 

Can anybody tell me how strict police are in the Merseyside region in terms of wearing a tinted visor?

Best thing to do is to carry around a clear visor in one of those visor pouches, then if you get pulled the copper might be more leniant

I have no idea about up north....but as Matt said carry your clear with you and don't use it night, then I don't see it being much of a problem. Its same as wearing sun glasses, would you them at night whilst riding? No so don't use a tinted visor at night. Thats what the bike cops said I worked with last month said.
