My New Bikes
 

After my off on the SV a couple of weeks ago I bought this.

needed an MOT so I got that done then decided it wasn't really what I wanted so I have now got this too.

As the SV is still waiting to be assessed by the insurance company I now have 3 bikes here.

That's a J or K model, isn't it. I can never tell the difference between the two. It looks to be in nice condition though.

Its a K model, the motor is sound enough. It runs lovely. The faring has some damage but for the age I reckon its pretty sweet. :)

Fairing looks ok for the year, it's the wheels that look like they've suffered a bit, but easily sorted. Those slabbies are becoming quite collectable now. I'm breaking a 1990 L model if you need anything that's useable.

Cheers, I'll bear that in mind. I have just got a mirror and bar end. Not sure what I'll do with the wheels yet. Prob strip and repaint.

I have a pair of yellow powder coated ones with good BT010s 120 front and 180 rear.

Only one thing wrong with that GSXR... It's still got the wrong engine in it :smt045 And for some reason it's hidden behind a load of plastic.

I'd have one of those, tried one, it felt rather rapid, and actually made the SV feel quite sweet handling! :D
