Easy to forget
 

It's so easy to forget what a great bike the sv is.

I upgraded to a Buell XB12Ss Lightning Long and I absolutely love it to peices. Always look forward to riding it at every opportunity and not looked back at the SV650 once since I gave it to my dad.

Today, I took out my dads SV and had a real WOW moment. Very nimble, very responsive, felt lovely.

Dont get me wrong the XB12Ss is the bike for me but as I was riding the sv I kept thinking to myself this feels great.

I'll never regret the time I spent with her (great bike) and if I ever want to get another "city ride" it will definitly be a naked sv650.

Like anything, if it's good, it's good. Time and subsequent developments don't diminish the original qualities.
