Re: engine bars
no takers for this thread? i would have thought someone would have come across them
|
Re: engine bars
They bolt to the engine most of the riding schools have them fitted as they offer better protection than crash bungs.
|
Re: engine bars
never seen them on a SV look a bit OTT on a bandit IMO but they serve a purpuse
|
Re: engine bars
my dad used to ave em on his old gsx 750,good protection for for engine oil casing etc & protect better the the crappy little crash bobbins we have these days.
only problem being they tend to look a bit numb. |
Re: engine bars
i have sent a message to the ebay seller asking for pics of them on an SV650 to see if they do infact look a bit crap as i am starting to imagine they might.
i will post the pic if i get one, but for about £40 i might just get them anyway & see what they are all about whats the betting they fit to the area of the engine that i have just fitted motoslider crach protectors to? poss' rendering them un-fitable. Alan |

Re: engine bars
Found this on pic for you Alan, might not be the same set but you get the idea....
http://www.revsperformance.com/image...rREN10100B.jpg Personally I wouldn't fit them, I'm happy with my JHS bungs (similar to motosliders but just a bit tougher) |

2nd set are bars to surround the Nekkid headlight and clocks. Again, not a thing of beauty. It's a practical thing.... |
