TomTom Rider 2 European Edition
I finally comitted to buying a TomTom this morning, and used the following link to buy the unit (http://www.amazon.co.uk/TomTom-Rider...ecc_rvi_cart_1).
I also added the car kit as I want to use it in th car on occasion. There is an option to buy both items together for £289.98, which I used. However, upon checkout, Amazon knocked £39.99 off the order as a "promotion", which means I got the european rider 2 and the car kit for £249.99 all in. I've tried it several times since and it seems to work each time, but I can find no information on this "promotion", so it could be a mistake. In any event, I thought I'd make you aware in case they were also considering a rider and could possibly get this "deal". I have no idea if it will work for anyone else though :/ |
Re: TomTom Rider 2 European Edition
Works for me too, £249.99 if you take the free delivery.

Re: TomTom Rider 2 European Edition
Sorry to resurect this thread, but I've received my TomTom Rider 2nd Edition Europe and have fitted the kit to the bike.
However, i've noticed that it does not go into "bike" mode unless there is no GPS signal. As soon as it picks up a signal, it reverts to "car" mode, which is no good for use with gloves. Has anybody had a similar situation or could give me some idea of how I could fix this issue? It appears that the cradle is working correctly as it has no problems realising the bike cradle is attached... |
