Guess my bike!

I went to look at a bike today, I turned up with the seat from the "normal" version of the bike as it will lower the riding position by 20mm.

I liked it & put a £100 deposit on it. It feels really weird compared to the SV & hasn't got as much oomph.

Guess what I got!

grrr...you guys! *sniff*

Yup, the 650 Dakar.

I leave London on 1st April heading East until arrive back in London from the West. Approx 22000 miles. If I can get to the US for the motogp in July that would be ace!

My old man used to live in Moscow. When I had to get a visa (this was a few years ago mind) I needed a letter of invitation from someone who was willing to sponser / vouch for me (i.e. my dad). Then had to sit at the Russian Embassy in London all day with the letter till they gave me my Visa. Not sure if its still the same now though.
