Dont blame you for wanting to buy one second hand; they cost a bomb to get done the "official" way.

Someone a while back had the dimensions for the restrictor washers that sit somewhere in the carbs, so you could go make up some yourself...dunno who that was though :-s

When you get them fitted, get a dyno-run done to show that the bike makes 33bhp just incase Mr Plod wants some proof (plowsie got asked for some the other week)

Welcome to the site

Matt

Well hello.

The washers are slightly over 13mm i/d with 42mm o/d iirc.

If I was making some then I'd start at 13mm on the safe side, can always take them out a bit further if dyno run shows very low power.

Mine cost me £200 for the kit and getting it fitted

and that was the lowest price I got in my area

I paid £240 (including fitting). Rip off :( I think I have the washer type, which is good...because that can be easily removed by my cheif technician

If the certificate is from FI then its washers, if its suzuki then its slides.

Neither are particularly hard to remove.

My washers were 100 quid fitted by Taz. Told them that's all I would pay and that was that ;) Still a rip off, without a doubt. Most of the money is probably the R&D that went into it, though its still hard to believe it'd cost so much.

I could design some for about £150 - 200 to get them spot on.

Robbing sods.
