SV650S 4 into 1 on SV1000S
 

Hi all - apologies if this has been covered already Is it easy to swap the SV1000S twin exhaust for an SV650S 4 into 1?

4 into 1?
That'll take some doing with only 2 cylinders.

From what I've heard its not really viable and the bikes only look alike. But I don't have a pointy and its hearsay.

Ahh, indeed - 4 into 1 is gonna be hard isn't it :-) 2 into 1 instead of 2 into 2 then? 1 into 1 instead of 1 into 2?

You know what I mean, 1 exhaust rather than 2 on the bike!!

M4 did a 2 in to 1 system, somenody on here was selling theres on, KwakZZR?? The 650 system won't lett he 1000 breathe enough

I have a full arrow system, and that is 2-1. Most 1000's ive seen are 2-1-2

I think it just works betterer-(ier)

SV1000 and SV650 share a name and little else. There are a few parts that are interchangeable between 1000 and 650, however the exhaust isn't one of them.

As mentioned before M4 and Arrow make 2-1 full systems for the SV1000.
