London Bike Show

Hey guys I'm going to this for sure, but the days most likely I can go are the Saturday/Sunday.....

I might be able to make Friday, but I will go early and won't be hanging around, I'm for dinner the Friday, I also need to check I can take that day off work.

What is the best day to go any way, for bargins? I want a set of one piece leathers, I want a good set nothing cheap, that gonna fall apart or thats heavy.

Well Let me know whats days people want to go, I'm booking a day work by the end of this week:grin:

TBH I went last year and was very underwhelmed. I felt it was quite expensive and a mission to get to (unless you live over that way) for what it delivered. It was the first year though, so it's possible they've made changes for this time.

Link added, I will be going by train, so if I buy anything then I can bring it back if someone wants to park up at my house, then thats fine if they planning to buy loads of stuff!

Do they offer as good discounts as I've managed to get at the ally pally show in recent times?

There were discounts available last year, but the opportunities for huge savings were few and far between. Mind you IMO the discounts on kit haven't been as good at any of the shows over recent years (when I was a girl...;)), I think a lot of them have changed their focus

Last year I picked up my Shoei XR1000 for ?170 (instead of ?250). There were some good deals on tyers/paddock stands and general tat as far as I remeber.

I'm going to find me some summer boots!

Saturday or Sunday work for me, will be confirmed closer to the time though.

(Going on the bike this year, don't have the energy for the DLR, really)

Oh its at Excel is it? Thats a shame i was hoping it was Ally Pally, partly cos its close to me and partly cos a few peeps felt let down by last years Excel show.
I just wanna get a bargain textile jacket you see so i'm wondering if i'll save anymore than the entrance fee and if not much more is there anypoint going bargain hunting there.
Hmmmm, maybe i'll decide nearer the time.

And Fizzy...when you were a girl????? You mean you had the op?
