how rude!
I went snowboarding last week, yes ladies, I AM that cool!! :smt112 :D
… anyway, I was standing in a queue at one chairlift and this bloke skied/stopped alongside and said (extremely sarcastically) “Nice one-piece mate” (referring to my outfit) … at first I thought it might be someone I knew and jokingly responded “you gotta love a ‘one-sy’ don't ya!!” ... then I looked and it wasn't someone I knew!! :scratch: Now I know my outfit wasn’t cool*, but I mean WTF … how rude are some people!!! :smt107 :smt019 *my outfit was/is a blue all-in-one ski suit I bought from C&A about 12 years ago!! I knew it wasn’t your normal kool snowborder attire, but I was going old-skool**!!! :D **read that as couldn’t see the point in buying new stuff just coz it was cool, my old ski suit works a treat 8) and lets face it, I can't see myself getting laid on piste!!! :D |

ps I learn't to ski in New Zealand wearing my Silver bike waterproofs ... all in ones back in 1990... There are very good at sliding down the mountain... Remarkable... thats were I learnt to ski... |

Been thinkin of doing some snowboarding myself actually...... i`ve been defrosting the freezer with a hammer and a knife and I reckon there`s enough ice on my kitchen floor to remove the wheels of my sons old skateboard an give it a go!!! |

As a taster .... to be fair, I doubt I looked much cooler than this chick .. ... I'd have prolly taken the p1ss meseln!! :D
