Suzy got nekkid!!

She went to chris's house yesterday, and as from today apparently she were going to lose a few pounds off her bum for a while. Putting a nice red Hagon shock in her for starters, now I've read some old posts, but haven't found the answer.

Will my nice red Hagon shock go straight in without
a- faffing with battery boxes??? I saw some folk have had to do this
b-chop bits off??? I also saw someone had to file top off it or something?????

so you see I am still the dizzybird that knows no mechanics

Please tell me that its a straight swap.....the damn things been sat under my bed a year and I'd prefer this operation to go smoothly.

Its just a red, same shape, same looking hagon mono..

Aye, it'll go straight in no probs. Unless all the bolts in the suspension linkage are stuck. Which they will be. Or it turns out like Matttheloony's bike with a mystery bend in the frame which means once the shock's been removed, it'll never go back in. Which it might do.

But I'm sure it'll be FINE!

Original chain? Mine did that too. Suzuki employ 2 chain nut tighteners on the production line, one is a gorilla and the other is a spider monkey. I'd done a couple of other chains before and I was used to them being very tight so I just leaned right on the breaker bar, and fell on my ****

I'd never assume something to be properly assembled and do that....

Honest.

I didn't spill my tea either

Not the original chain though.

poor suzy , I get to look at her tomorrow. We got rusty photo's for you all apparently,....tomorrow its nitromorse time on the front forks... no not original chain, just original sprocket nut? no idea i just ride it......

anyway, the big question is....how do the exhaust studs come out of a very rusted/welded on exhaust. NO NUTS LEFT they disintegrated

With great care, a gas torch, freeze and release spray and a short prayer is my plan so far :p

Nice.................before and after pics. Make you realise that all the blisters, skinned knuckles and scalds from spilled tea are worthwhile:D
