Snake pass shut due to landslide
Heard about this on bbc1 news yesterday.

they only resurfaced parts of that last year. Rememeber carlos enquiring what it were like at the AR last year. We told him to go try and he likeeeed it a lot because it were soooo new.

aye, was thinking of heading over that way today until i heard the report last night, then if that wasn't enough, the weather was shi'ite.

Yeah, it's annoying as it's a road I regularly use, and was so much better after the recent resurfacing :(
Just have to enjoy the other great roads around here ;) |

Sometimes a closed road can make a better playground, if you can ride up to the closed bit and back... My favourite stretch of road got closed at one end last year and there's only 2 houses on it above the closure, so it was essentially an empty road. Ace!

Went up there today and Snake is still closed from the lights at Ladybower - but, on a bike you can slip round the barrier...:smt045:cool:
