Wots The Diff'rence?
 

When looking through various accessories websites i have noticed that the pointy '03 model has certain differences to the '04 onwards pointy,(scorpion exhausts for example). Wots the difference?

the rear subframe is diff on the k3 k4 to the k5 k6 k7.

Different logo on the tank and allegedly a couple more ponies too.

diff foot pegs, black frame, undertray, smaller radiator, black wheels.

K4 also has the lower sub frame and the rider seats are deeper on the K4 + to maintain the seat height. This brought the passenger down 40mm compared to the rider. The exhaust is lower also. The visual give-away apart from the tank decals is the shape of the side panels.

I owned a K3 naked and a K5 S at the same time until last Saturday. The rider's seat height of my K3 was definitely much higher than my K5's. I can flat-foot my K5, I couldn't do that on my K3

Look at the depth of the seats or check the specs anywhere you like. I've just Googled it and found these:-

Your SK5 does look like it's dragging it's ar5e for some reason.

my k3 seems higher than cuz's k6 too.
