Re: is this legal
Providing it doesn't interfere with his range of movement/vehicle control - then I don't see a problem...
... unless he was riding without taking into account the additional width and bouncing the bag down the sides of cars as he filtered that is! ;) I ride with a pair of crutches across my back using a shoulder strap - OK, not the same bulk as a bag of golf clubs but a similar length I s'pose - that said, the panniers on my Varadero are wider still so they give me more concern when filtering. |

Re: is this legal
Well in the past I have ridden to Bisley with a couple of rifles in soft cases over my shoulder and a couple of handguns bungied to the back seat. And in the not too distant past have travelled to the pit with a couple of swords/axes/maces strapped ove a shoulder wi a chain shirt and seat bungied down too :P
Prolly not legal if pushed through the courts but it works ! |
Re: is this legal
Yeah, this makes me wonder what are the rules regarding carrying things like that?
I have been known to ride with a bokken strapped to my back and recently a broom handle shoved down my boot. And both did restrict my movement a bit... |
Re: is this legal
Chain shirt? Thats probably better than any bike gear in a slide!
