Oh, B..B..B..Balls! Blast.. and Bollo...

:smt120 I've lost by blue Suzuki folder / wallet thingy.... :( Arrrgggghhhh! can't go to bed now, I'm wound up!

And I've lost my Ford one for my Mondeo.
Both 06 plate with full service history.

They were both together last time I had them, which I swear was in a drawer in my bedroom which is now mysteriously full of :smt067 my wifes winter gloves, hats and scarfs! God knows when that happened. Of couse she swears she hasn't touched them.

Spent two nights searching the house, did every room systematically followed by the attic, the garage and both cars. I suppose it could still be hiding in the attic, theres a lot of boxes up there, but only if :smt067my wife has "put them into storage". If they're up there I'll find them somewhere stupid like in a suitcase full holiday clothes 'cos thats what she was throwing stuff in when she came across them! Unless one of us (she) has mistakenly thrown them out in another bag or something.

I have the service history, owners manual, V5 and insurance for the car, 'cos I took them out to take abroad on a driving holiday, but lost the invoices for the purchase, invoices for servicing, hire purchase papers, blah, blah, blah..

For my bike I've lost the friggin' lot! ](*,) Service history, V5, Invoices, the friggin lot!

I only have the wallet for :smt067my wifes car 'cos it was in her glovebox when I put the other two away, otherwise it would probably be lost too.

Anyone ever had to get a replacement service history book? Did the dealers re-do all the stamps for you? Do the DVLA still issue replacement V5's in the same way (fill in a form at post office) since the new "must have a log book" laws came in?

I'm a 'place for everything and everything in it's place' kind of guy. Anyone else like me who lives with a 'place for nothing and nothing in the same place twice' kind of person.

I love her really :puker: just not sure why tonight!

Oh joy. I lost my V5 the other day after selling my 125 to someone. Tore the house apart, no luck. Every drawer was out, and I didn't sleep a wink the night before last, and had nightmares about it.

You can download a form on the DVLA website to apply for a new V5, as long as you are the registered owner, or the quicker was is to phone them direct, and they produce one there and then apparently and send it out. If you apply by post it sits in a pile for a while.

The charge is twenty five pounds.

you should be able to get the SH re- stamped. If you know which dealer did the work (if you have had the bike from new, I guess you do!), then phone them up, give them the registration, and as long as you buy a pukka suzuki service manual, they should stamp it.

Been going through this at the mo with a car - only thing is, a dealer cant stamp for another dealers work...e.g. if you had it serviced at Suzuki Glasgow, but moved to London, Suzuki London won't stamp it on beahlf of Glasgow as far as I am aware - you would need to post the book to them, or even better, buy the book from them, get them to stamp it, and post it to you.

I know where it is. It's in the last place when someone touched it. Honestly believe me. Go check, I promise it is still there.

I know how you feel though. I've lost something before and done the same systematic search but couldn't find it. Jo told me that if she found it could she have a new pram for the nipper. I said yes thinking she wouldn't find it, two minutes later she claims to have found it in the very draw I could have sworn I emptied upside down. That cost me £300. Suspicious :?: Me :?: Damn right I was.

Meh dont talk to me about loosing stuff.

Lost a cycling jersey a while back. A nice vintage retro one that had taken me ages to find via ebay.

Last night I got in. Had my tea. Nattered to Liz, then couldnt find my wallet or mobile phone. Yet I swore blind I brought them home. Spent a while cursing and retracing my steps, still couldnt find it. Was worried it had fallen out of my ruck sack on the way home or I had left at work.

Starting to get really p*ssed off then I go through my rucksack again. Dufus here had put my wallet and phone into a different compartment on the rucksack. Then I couldnt find my car keys. Grrhhh...

I do this all the time. Put stuff down can't find it again. If I dont have a system in the morning I always forget something. I swear I'm going senile or just loosing the plot.
