Evening....
I know I know ..... I shouldn't have but the GSXR-600 2003 model was looking too damn sexy so I bought it as my first bike for ?3300 ;) :(.
On the plus side TPFT insurance for it is only ?600 which is by far the cheapest. Will post picture up once I go pick it up next saturday. :p I am so happy (drool). lol |
Re: Evening....
your first bike? Well it was nice knowing you!
;o) Seriously, I'll be looking at the 04 for my next bike (at the end of the year). Wilkommen |
Re: Evening....
As long as you can afford it, its fine for a first bike.
If you ride like a **** you'll come unstuck, but thats true of any bike really. :) |
Re: Evening....
So what are you doing on an sv forum? :)

Re: Evening....
On the subject of insurance... how much should a 600 sport cost on average? I'm 26 & have a couple of years no claims, the SV cost me ?320 fully comp last year. Did a quote on a new ZX-6R out of interest and the best I could find was approx ?900!
Congrats re the gixxer purchase! |
Re: Evening....
You should be able to get that down a bit Dave.
These days insurers have a look at what your last bike was(well mine seem to) so they will notice that a ninja is a step up from a SV. I think im paying £450 for my R6(i can never remember exactly how much!) i'm 21 with 3 years NCB. I was looking into a R1 for next year and that was £700. |
Re: Evening....
SV650 to zx6r?? Hardly a huge step up? I mean, what else could you have in between?
