Maintenance help for new riders (PROs WANTED)
 

Hello Everyone!

I have this kind of crazy idea to help a new riders (like me), who does not really know of how to keep maintenance of the motorcycle. All we know that on March-April all of us are going to do important maintenance preparing for riding season. How about get some PROs (people who knows what they are doing) and ask them to grab a camera and snap a few pictures of what they are doing during their preparation. Some one can get a "report" of how to change oil, someone else can show of where and how to tie the bolts, clutch, drive chain etc. So, maybe later we can ask a moderator to put it all together in read-only folders/threads and new comes will be able to access well documented and professionally done helps.

I think it can really benefit people who knows of how to do it by reading the manual but uncertainte of exact way and the way of how it looks like. Also, PROs can provide some tricks and share some experienced ways of how to done it better.

i dont think its a bad idea, will take quite a bit of putting together but it would be of great help i reckon. many things can be found on the fourm if you search, but for all those lazy ones out there like me a specific thread just for techniques maybe a good option. good idea! scott
