I'll be scr3wed when

'We' run out of petrol/fuel

Just a quick tot-up

{tick tick tick}

car 1
van 1
bikes 12
genny 2
kart 4
mower 1
RC 11(possibly more)

Total 32

I have 32 engines that require fuel ... :o

What am I going to do when they are obsolete as we have no more fuel (that they run on)!?!? :(

Can everyone else stop using fuel please!! :D ... use as much diesel as you like mind, I don't use any of that!! ;)

:D

To be fair, not many of them would ever be running at the same time ;)

But point is I have evidently invested quite a bit of cash in motors - that would suddenly become worthless if we didn't have fuel

Must cost a fortune in road tax or it must take ages filling out the SORN's.

Yep

Some of those bike engines are either spare engines or ones that don't need to be TAX'd/SORN (like my minimotos) so not as bad as all 12 need taxing/SORNing ;)

I heard a story on the local news about someone obtaining used chip pan oil (from the local chippy), filtering it and using it in his Ford Escort.

Perhaps there's hope after all?

Only problem is, if you use this fuel in your bike and go out for a ride, no one riding behind will want to eat fish & chips when you get to the coast!

That is for diesel cars (none of my engines are Diesel, so it won't help me ) ... it is legal to do as long as you pay the correct tax on the oil ;)
