AMS Motorcycles Servicing Charvil (TV and Guildford area)
 

Just had my Hornet back yesterday from these chaps. Only wanted the Valve Clearances done but they offered a full service for not a lot more.

They replaced:

Oil/Filter
Air Filter
Plugs
Brake Fluid
Coolant
Rear brake pads
Fork Oil with heavier 12.5w

They checked:
Calipers front and rear
Valve clearances
Chain
Tyre pressures

All this for ?255 icluding collection on Friday nught and delivery on Sunday afternoon!

I have to say that the bike feels like new. Awesome, can't praise them enough. Honda dealer wanted to charge me ?495 for this work!

I keep hearing good things about AMS. Well 2 happy customers....

I might be tempted to give them a try, in July, when my bike needs a service.(Sorry DWR i have sinned)

I live on the edge, I do - 24.5 miles - get your bike delivered back to mine and I'll test (joy) ride it for you :thumbsup:

Its a very attractive proposition, this collection / delivery thing isnt it?

Do most dealers/service places offer loan bikes, in your experience(s)?

Certainly the big dealers do (George Whites, Honda etc). The small one's usually don't with a few exceptions. Most though don't let you keep the bikes overnight due to their business insurance not covering you. Either way AMS were quality, especially when you can feel the difference.

11 miles from me...although what stops them from turning up in a van to 'collect' my bike, then never coming back.

Sure they returned the ninja/hornet, but i imagine the R6 might prove too great a temptation! They're only mortal after all.......
